There is no question any MLM company you might come across will claim to be ‘Unique’ or offer its prospects an ‘unparalleled opportunity’, but if you think that a company would say anything BUT that about themselves, you might be a little too naive for your own safety. You see, when people set their eyes on a business opportunity, they are ALREADY at least mildly interested, and if the company doesn’t measure up to what it promises, it can be dangerous for the distributor.

The idea that a garment can ACTUALLY reshape your body, and help you to lose weight is ridiculous, and reminds me of that old vibrating belt machine that someone came up with decades ago, except this actually Works!

Ardyss Body Magic and  28  body reshaping products  for women and 4 for Men, offer a boost of self esteem for someone who isn’t 100% happy with the way they looked. This would be a great angle for a potential distributor to explore in greater depth, and leverage it when prospecting. An Ardyss business can change peoples lives, and if the distributor does the research, and learns the right and wrong ways to appeal to their demographic,  they stand a good chance of making Ardyss International with Top Income earners making up to 7 Figures per month.  I’d say its a worthwhile venture.

Because distributors have these options as well as a complete skin care line that is actually manufactured by the same company that produces Estee Lauder (a staple in the beauty care business), they DO have a really good platform to work off of when it comes to offering a wide variety of health and wellness products, but it will be the ways that distributors seek out their target audience, and how they appeal to them that will ultimately decide the fate of the overall endeavor.

As I build my network marketing business, for the first time in my life, I’ve felt at many times Defeated!  Let Down! as if my time had yet to come.  Many people in my Primary business Opportunity have become overnight Success~ Making 5-6 figures a month with a limited education, and skills. Often times, I and my Husband, spend our Pastime “riding out” on his motorcycle.  It is a very relaxing time for us to gather our thoughts, and become Present with Nature.  The thrill and excitement are also a benefit! I am also a very spiritual individual.  I try to stay Present always, and see God in everything, but today was special.

This afternoon as my husband and I rode the motorcycle pass our metro airport, I was able to share such an intimate moment!  As if it were a lesson I was chosen to learn, to enlighten my path, and bring me to a place of appreciation, and gratitude..  But let me tell you, the Timing on this thing was impeccable…As if God has purposely designed for us to be on that very busy rode Alone ( I might add) at that particular moment, with the sunset in a Perfect position,  wind blowing against our skin.  When I tell you it was a Perfect moment! whew~ amazing!

As I became one with the moment, taking in every detail, I shared in the departure of a commercial airline… I don’t know which it was, but as it seemingly flawlessly accelerated, as the plane began to climb  higher and higher, it appeared to be a smooth transition. Beginning  on the ground, to being above the clouds.. The plane didn’t accelerate really fast~ but it seemed as though it was a gradual incline~ a gradual elevation~ a study climb!

I began to take in the moment, which appeared much like the Picture I chose to associate with this Post.  Though I may have seen it before.  This time it was different.  The Lessons and its Message will forever remain.

Everything is Predestined. The People who planned to travel that day.  The Pilots who were scheduled to work that day.  The Sun was designed to set that Day~ that Way!

It was a Lesson.  Why has my Network Marketing business not yet Succeeded?

Each of us has a Predestined flight. Daily we prepare ourselves for our trip, by personal Developement, setting Goals, becoming a part of Network Marketing Associations with Like minded individuals going in the same direction. Purpose driven, mission minded Leaders.

So glad to know that you are seeking independence in the form of working from home. My name is Nakida Friday and I mentor and coach others on how to brand and market themselves online. Having a background in Home Based Businesses (HBB) and Network Marketing, I just wanted to shed a bit of insight into what you should look out for when seeking a HBB…

1. Find something that you can believe in. It is so important to believe in your product. You do not want to do something “just for the money”. It will never last, and starting an HBB can be pretty challenging at times in all honesty, so you want your passion to see you through the challenge of the development stage.

2. Find a mentor that you can trust. Although you will be in business for yourself, you will not be working by yourself, but will be working with a team of people that ‘MUST’ have your best interest in mind. I’ve worked under good and poor leadership, and trust me, the poor leadership nearly killed my business. Find someone that will show you how to disover your passion and push you to maximize your potential. But also keep in mind that you must be self motivated as well.

3. Make sure that the compensation plan is worth your time and is tangible. In every business meeting opportunity, you will have the “highly paid” testimonials of that someone in the company that is making all this money in a short period of time…..BIG DEAL!!! The reality is, how possible is it for you to really make that money yourself, based on your talent and your efforts? Find a company with a compensation plan that is worth your time…..if that money is just a few dollars here and there, you may get discouraged and quit, feeling like your spending more money than your earning. There are companies that aren’t that expensive to get involved with, and will pay a reasonable amount of money. You have to be realistic with how much money you want to make in comparison to how much effort your willing to put into it. In a HBB if you work it like a Hobby, you’ll receive a Playcheck.. work it like a Business you will receive a PayCheck

4. Be ready to work hard….Working from home can often be harder than working a job. The reason why is because your hours go way past the normal 40 hours a week and you arent’ getting paid every two weeks. You must also be disciplined with a daily agenda of “money producing activities” that will promote you to where you want to be financially. The downfall with network marketing companies is that most people rely on their upline to get them to their desired level of success. The truth of the matter is that it is all up to you. They may support you, encourage you and guide you but YOU must do all the work! At the end of the day, you can not place your future in anyone elses hands so be willing to be in control of your future and your work ethic.

This is my tidbit of wisdom that I felt is necessary to share as you seek a business. One last tip….

5. MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE WORKING WITH A MENTOR THAT CAN SHOW YOU HOW TO BUILD YOUR BUSINESS ONLINE! – It’s obvious that using the internet to build your business is the most effective use of your time…..their really isn’t any other way to leverage yourself outside of it….need I say more.

How would you like to explode the open rate on every piece of marketing collateral you produce, whether it’s an email, article or video to promote your value? In this article I’m going to share with you a little known secret weapon that forces the masses to stop and listen to you.

Most people don’t realize that whenever you create any type of marketing piece, the very first thing that has to be mastered is the headline. It doesn’t matter how good or valuable the content is if no one is opening it.

Your headline is your “packaging” for your message, and if it isn’t attractive to those who you want to share your information, they will never open the “gift.” Think about the last time you looked at the packaging on some sort of product and thought it was unattractive. Subsequently, you made an unconscious decision to not purchase it and went with one that was more attractive.

So, if you can get good at writing headlines, your leads will build up dramatically. The challenge with writing headlines is that it takes a tremendous amount of education to know how to put together the right sequence of words along with making sure they don’t sound too good to be true.

Well, I stumbled upon an amazing tool created by The Advanced Marketing Institute. They have created an free online tool called The Emotional Marketing Value Headline Analyzer. Here’s how I used it to write this very article you’re reading.

I originally came up with the headline, “The Perfect Message – How To Increase The Open Rate On Your Messages By More Than 55%.” I thought this was a pretty strong headline until I entered it into the analyzer. It came back with an EMV score of 18.75%. This score indicates that my headline has a total of 18.75% Emotional Marketing Value (EMV) Words. To put that in perspective, the English language contains approximately 20% EMV words.

And for comparison, most professional copywriters’ headlines will have 30%-40% EMV Words in their headlines, while the most gifted copywriters will have 50%-75% EMV words in headlines.
With this data, I played with the headline until I received a score that fell between the 30%-40% range. The headline for this article received an EMV score of 36.36%, putting me into the category of a “professional” copywriter.

Here’s the bottom line: you can instantly know that you’re headlines are getting your viewers to open your messages without guessing!

Becoming self-employed can be liberating, exhilarating, frustrating and terrifying. Often all at the same time. Most entrepreneurs I meet know they need to be doing marketing. They just often lack a clear sense of what marketing is, or they have no idea where to start. Here are the seven most common mistakes I see
new business owners making with their marketing (and how to fix them):

1. They don’t do any– New consultants tend to focus their attention on the skill they offer
   their clients. Usually they are very talented at that skill, they’re just not talented at talking with people about it, or explaining how it will help others. If you aren’t doing any marketing don’t be surprised if the world does not beat a path to your door. People won’t know you’re out there if they never hear about you.
2. They market inconsistently – Although it’s better than not doing any, marketing in a hit-or-miss manner is not a recipe for success. Massive brands like Coke and McDonalds
   didn’t get that way by approaching their marketing as an afterthought. Without consistent effort it is difficult to stay top-of-mind.
3. They have no plan– It takes a plan to identify the best opportunities and timing to reach

4. They fail to delegate it – As a business owner you wear many hats but it doesn’t mean you have to do it all yourself. There are lots of administrative
   assistants, virtual assistants and interns who can take many of the basic
   tasks of marketing off your plate, freeing you to focus on serving
   customers and selling. Though I prefer to do things myself… Outsourcing work is always an option!
5. They fail to fund it– While some tactics like social media require only time and no money,
   other marketing initiatives do require funds. Take a look at your expected revenues
   and determine an appropriate amount to invest. By seeing your budget as a whole you can
   better invest those dollars wisely.You must first learn to always invest in yourself.
6. They see it as an expense and not an investment – When done correctly, marketing is an investment, not an expense. It’s not like your rent which flows out
   every month never to be seen again. The dollars you spend finding the right people and letting them know about you should flow back to you in the form of new business. Poor people Entertain themselves, while Rich people Educate themselves.. Your first investment is Self!
7. They expect immediate results – Marketing is both an art and a science. There is no one silver bullet that will completely provide you with all the business you could
   ever want. It takes time for your target customer to feel ready to buy, so commit to a long-term view to get the best results in marketing your consulting business.
